Reflect on the SWOT analysis for Blessed Frassati in the class slideshow. What does his story teach us about the Call to Witness? We are all called to be saints...it is up to us to accept God's invitation as Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati did.
HOMEWORK FOR EVERYONE:
- Make sure that you have completed your Personal SWOT analysis on p. 5 of your Confirmation workbook (click link to download a copy). (You will be using this to help you prepare to write the letter to Father Simoes next week).
- Make sure you have read the Confirmation for Teens Lesson 8 (click link to download a copy) and have completed the "Homework for the Family" section on the last page.
- Read the Gospel passage (Luke 4:18-19) on p. 6 of your Confirmation workbook (click link to download a copy) and answer the questions about this scripture text (#2 on p. 6).
- OPTIONAL: Write a letter to Jesus (#3 on p. 6)
- Reflect upon why you would like to be confirmed and come up with some ideas for your letter to Fr. Simoes, that you will be writing next week in class. (Why would you like to be confirmed? How do you know you are ready to receive the sacrament?) YES, FATHER WILL BE READING ALL OF YOUR LETTERS!!!
